15" Macbook Pro (2016-2019)

This series had the Intel i5 or i7 chip and the intergrated Touchbar. It also had the 4 USB-C ports and a headphone jack and the fingerprinter sensor.

This series had a good run and was replaced by the 16" Macbook Pro.

15" Macbook Air (2022-Present)

The 15" Air was released as the bigger brother to the 13" Air that was the flagship of the Air family for years.

This generation has the Apple M Chip, the XDR liquid display, fingerprint sensor and USB-C ports. The M series Air also has a dedicated Mag 3 port for power so you don't have to use a USB port or hub.
