15" Macbook Pro (2016-2019)

This series had the Intel i5 or i7 chip and the intergrated Touchbar. It also had the 4 USB-C ports and a headphone jack and the fingerprinter sensor.

This series had a good run and was replaced by the 16" Macbook Pro.

15" Macbook Air (2022-Present)

The 15" Air was released as the bigger brother to the 13" Air that was the flagship of the Air family for years.

This generation has the Apple M Chip, the XDR liquid display, fingerprint sensor and USB-C ports. The M series Air also has a dedicated Mag 3 port for power so you don't have to use a USB port or hub.

15" Macbook Pro (Late 2012-2015)

This series had the Intel i7 chip in a 2.3 or 2.5 Quad Core.

It also had the 2 regular USB ports and a headphone jack along with an SD Card Reader and a HDMI port.

This series can run OS X Catalina up to Monterey depending on the processor year.

These units are the last of the upgradable hard drives but you can not change the RAM.
